Community Associate - Rural People's Voice (Okanogan County)
Elana was born in eastern Washington and calls Okanogan County home. After many years as a social worker, a whole lotta years waiting tables, and lots of hard-earned wins as a leader in rural community health, Elana is now the Co-Executive Director of Rural People's Voice (RPV), an organization that brings together working families, advances leaders, and shifts narrative in North Central Washington to build an economy that works for all of us. Elana came to the movement-building work of RPV after serving as the executive director of an anti-violence organization in Okanogan County and a community-based participatory researcher at the UW Indigenous Wellness Research Institute.
