About me
Destiney “Skwekwiw” Petty descends from the Snayckstx (arrow lakes) band of the Colville Tribes, and raises her three children in Inchelium, Washington on the Colville Indian Reservation. She currently serves as the Tribal Program Manager for Rural Resources Victim Services. Through this role, Destiney utilizes her own experiences as a survivor and Salish language student to design and implement culturally relevant supports for clients and prevention participants. In both her professional and personal roles, Destiney aims to prevent the advancement of Intergenerational trauma.
